July 2021 Plant Auction Report
No shortage of buyers for July’s Plant sale with bidders coming from as far afield as Poland, Cyprus, the Czech Republic & the Principality of Andorra, alongside those closer to home throughout the UK & Ireland including the usual loyal support.
Top of the sale was a Ford 8240 4WD Tractor selling to a local farmer for £9,000. Welfare units topped at £6,600 for a Groundhog unit complete with kitchen & a WC whilst elsewhere selling to £2,000 was a 20ft container. Top of the digger trade this time was £6,500 for a Kubota KX36-3. Ride on mowers very much in demand with prices topping at £6,200 for a Kubota G23-2 Hi Tip followed by £2,500 for a John Deere X495 Mulching Mower & £2,000 for a Kubota G18. Utility vehicles hit £3,400 for a CF Moto C Force 820cc 4WD Quad, which was £200 over it’s retail price, whilst a Polaris Ranger Crew made £3,200, a Farr 700 UTV EFI for £1,660 & £1,540 for a Kawasaki 2510 Mule. Generators topped at £3,400 for a SDMO 90KVA generator whilst an Ingersol Rand G44 40KVA made £2,100. Track Barrows topped at £3,000 for a JCB whilst an Ammann made £2,000. Trailers peaked at £2,200 for a Bateson 18’ Tilt Bed Trailer complete with a 6 Ton Winch leading the way, followed by a 14 Ton Richard Western at £1,640. Meanwhile the usual popular entrants of Twin Axle Plant Trailers made up to £860. Top of the smaller items was a Stihl 064 Chainsaw complete with Planking Mill making £500.
